Hello and welcome back to Class 3's blog! We have had a very busy start to the new academic year. We have already had a day of 'Skip 2B Fit' and begun our swimming lessons.

Our new topic this term is Alchemy Island and we have begun our work by thinking about Fantasy Worlds and how we get to them. The following pictures are the portals the children designed as their entry point to their imaginary world, We used a website called www.befunky.com to edit our images.

Rotary Club Competition- Design and Build

Well done to our team who took their design of a water irrigation system to the Rotary Club Design and Build competition! We had lots of fun trying to get as much water out of the make-shift River Nile as possible in 2 minutes. We were delighted to come second overall! Well done to the team! 

Hit the Surf

Wow - what an exciting day we had at Hit the Surf with the RNLI! We all had a FANTASTIC time learning to surf! 

Scream Machine!

To begin our Scream Machine topic, Class 3 experienced a simulator theme park! They went on a log flume ride, in a haunted house and on a roller coaster! Can you guess which ride they were on by looking at their faces?
